Slow n' Steady

The search for GM's has continued at a slow pace, but we are getting closer. I expect 11 by the start of the new week, which means we are only 5 away from getting started. I hope everyone is still pumped, because i know i am. Hope everyone is having a nice summer!

Start filling out your draft board

While we wait on the league to fill up, it be a good idea to start getting a little draft board together. Remember ESPN for positions, Hoopshype.com for contracts. Once the league gets full we will start the draft soon after.

GM Search continues

I've made contact with around 14 people, waiting to hear back from most. As of this posting we have 3 of us registered on the messageboard. If you've received an email from me telling you to register for the board and havent done so yet, please make sure to do that so I can see exactly who all we have on board. Also start to think about team names, Will Burger has the right idea with the Cleveland Tiger name, I want all teams to have a city, then a nickname. Feel free to be as creative as possible though.

Looking for GM's

Hello there if you are reading this then you must be interested in becoming part of our league. We need 16 Gm's total before we can get things started. Here are some things we are looking for.

1.) Read the Rules!!! (if you are still interested continue)

2.) Must be Active!!---If you are one of those people who will pay attention through the draft, then be no where to be found after this is not the league for you. Constant stops by the messageboard and team tinkering is a must!

3.) Must be Experienced--I hate seeing newer GMs get taken advantage of, so best to just keep them out:) Experience with Keeper leagues is preferred but not required. Also no fantasy overloads if this will be your 8th BBall League then I rather you not join. Im hoping this will be the only league you ever need. Plenty to keep you busy!!

4.) Not be Bothered by Constant updates--You will recieve emails with league happenings, it is also preffered you have a way to communicate with others in the league, rather it be AOL Instant Messenger, Twitter, Facebook, our own messageboard, etc. We have to have a way to stay in contact with you.

5.) Realistic Expectations to be around for a While--I've been in a league similar to this for 6 seasons now and its a lot of fun, so if your just joining willing to mess your team up then don't waste your time or ours. Obviously some people come and go, but of the original 16 we still have 9 after 6 seasons in my other league and I'd love to say the same here.
